Pedestrian killed by bus
A 48-year-old Shwe Pyi Thar township man was killed by a bus on November 27, according to police.
At 11:30am, U Thein Myint was crossing the street near a bus stop when he was struck by a bus driven by Ko Zaw Zaw Aung, 32, of Ayeyarwady Region.
U Thein Myint suffered a cracked skull and inflammation of the brain. He died while being sent to the hospital.
