The Women's Creation Cen­tre will be or­gan­is­ing the Dabur Spe­cial Teej Fes­ti­val 2016. The event will cel­e­brate the ma­jor Hindu fes­ti­val Teej, start­ing from Au­gust 11 - 15, at the United World Trade Cen­tre (UWTC), in the Capital. The event will have on ex­hibit goods and ser­vices pro­duced by women, which, ac­cord­ing to the or­gan­is­ers, will act as a plat­form for women en­trepreneurs to share their creation and ex­pe­ri­ences; more­over, the event will fea­ture 90 stalls fea­tur­ing all of Teej es­sen­tials in­clud­ing re­li­gious para­pher­na­lia, hand­i­crafts, cloth­ing, and home ap­pli­ances. The five-day event will see a num­ber of food stalls along with a plethora of artists and DJs. At a press con­fer­ence in the Capital the or­gan­is­ers said that they were ex­pect­ing over 40, 000 vis­i­tors to the fes­ti­val. The en­try to the event is free and open to all.
