After ousting of Baburam Bhattarai from the party, Krishna Bahadur Mahara has become the key person of India in the Maoist Center. According to a source in Delhi, India is projecting Mahara as the future prime minster of the country. After completing nine months, PM Dahal has to handover the power to the NC as per the gentleman's agreement. At that time, a situation can be developed when NC president Sher Bahadur Deuba may not become the PM. In such a situation, Mahara may lead the next NC-MC coalition government, said the source. No doubt, in the present cabinet, the two DPMs are India confidant leaders, said the source. Delhi is all aware about Pushpakamal Dahal's behavior as anytime he can betray India. Therefore, Delhi has prepared Mahara as the candidate to succeed Dahal, the source said. Mahara, although, a confidente of Dahal for the time being, can be a serious threat for Dahal's political future, said the source.
