CAN Com­mTech 2017 this September

Fed­er­a­tion of Com­puter As­so­ci­a­tion Nepal ( CAN) will be or­gan­is­ing CAN Com­mTech from September 14 to September 17, 2017 at Bhriku­tiMan­dap Ex­hi­bi­tion Hall, Kath­mandu. CAN Com­mTech is an in­for­ma­tion, com­mu­ni­ca­tion and tech­nol­ogy show which show­cases na­tional and in­ter­na­tional mo­bile so­lu­tions, com­puter hard­ware, se­cu­rity so­lu­tions, ISPs, telecom, broad­band & ca­ble TV ser­vice provider, prod­uct launch/new prod­ucts, wire­less so­lu­tions, bank­ing so­lu­tions and IT en­abled ser­vices so­lu­tions un­der one roof. Com­pa­nies such as in­ter­net ser­vice providers, hard­ware sales and so­lu­tions, mo­bile deal­ers, dis­trib­u­tors and other will have stalls at CAN Com­mtech 2017. Col­leges and train­ing in­sti­tutes with a fo­cus on tech­nol­ogy along with pay­ment so­lu­tion com­pa­nies will also be present at the expo. Even in­ter­na­tional com­pa­nies look­ing to get a foothold in Nepal will be mak­ing their pres­ence at the expo. Through this ex­hi­bi­tion vis­i­tors will be able to know and buy prod­ucts/ser­vices. The ti­tle spon­sor of CAN Com­mTech 2017 is Su­bisu Pvt Ltd. Nepal Telecom is the di­a­mond spon­sor while the silver spon­sor is S-Power. There will be 87 small and big stalls at CAN Com­mTech 2017. Eighty per­cent of the stalls have al­ready been booked, high­light­ing the strong de­mand for such tech­nol­ogy ex­pos. CAN be­lieves that to de­velop and ex­pand Nepal's in­for­ma­tion tech­nol­ogy scene, tech­nol­ogy re­lated ex­pos and shows need to be or­gan­ised ev­ery year. This year there will be a sep­a­rate pavil­ion for se­cu­rity so­lu­tions com­pa­nies which they have called Elec­tric Se­cu­rity and Safety and So­lu­tion. The pavil­ion will also con­tain other so­lu­tions and sys­tems rang­ing from CCTV, ac­cess con­trol sys­tem, sen­sor and alarm, staff at­ten­dance, fire and smoke de­tec­tor. The en­try fee for pub­lic is Rs50, for stu­dents Rs25 and the en­try fee gov­ern­ment school stu­dents will be free. This year, more than 200,000 vis­i­tors are ex­pected to de­scend upon one of Nepal's pre­mier tech­nol­ogy ex­pos.
