People's Review - - NEWS - By Our Reporter

Although NC was able to secure only the second position in the local elections in six provinces, it is likely to become the first party in the local elections in No 2 province. In spite of Delhi's hard effort to bring RJP to the first position, Upendra Yadav led Socialist Forum appeared as the main rival of RJP in the Tarai districts. From emergence of Yadav's party as strong in the Tarai districts, Delhi has not been able to show its sole presence in the Tarai politics. Yadav is believed to be a pro-West leader and despite of Yadav's devious role in the Tarai uprising, his party hashas been able to make stronghold in the Tarai politics. Earlier, Yadav's party

was considered to be the fifth strength in the Tarai districts.
