Shangrila Devel­op­ment Bank en­ters 14th year

Baluwatar Kathmandu-head quar­tered Shangrila Devel­op­ment Bank has suc­cess­fully com­pleted its 13th year of op­er­a­tion and en­tered into 14th year. On the oc­ca­sion of the 14th an­niver­sary the bank has or­ga­nized va­ri­eties of pro­grams. As the bank has at­tached ut­most pri­or­ity to Cor­po­rate So­cial Re­spon­si­bil­ity (CSR) in ad­di­tion to serv­ing the cus­tomers, it pro­vided food items and com­modi­ties of daily use to the 30 se­nior cit­i­zens of 'Aama Ghar' sit­u­ated at Solti­mod. Board of Di­rec­tors of the bank Chu­damani Dhakal and Ni­ran Kau­mar Shrestha Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer Ra­jen­dra Poudel and Deputy Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer Di­nesh Thakali per­son­ally went to the ' Aama Ghar' and handed over the com­modi­ties of reg­u­lar use. Sim­i­larly, the Pokhara-based re­gional of­fice of the bank or­ga­nized an­other CSR ac­tiv­ity where Chair­per­son of the bank Prof. Dr. Rabindra Parsad Shrestha, Board of di­rec­tor Shivalal Malla and for­mer Chair­per­son Prof. Surendra Ba­hadur Bhari handed over stationary to the 40 or­phan chil­dren of the Child Cen­ter of Bat­ulechaur. Also, Nepaljung re­gional of­fice hosted sim­i­lar pro­gram which was led by Board of Di­rec­tor of the bank Achyut Parasad Pra­sain. He handed over warm clothes and food items to the se­nior cit­i­zens of Nil­gar and Bheri El­derly Peo­ple's Home.
