Bud­dhism hap­pi­ness work­shops are be­ing held at Massey Univer­sity’s Albany Cam­pus.

The groups are based on Nichiren Bud­dhism, which be­lieves the best way to hap­pi­ness is to tackle is­sues front on.

The Nichiren fol­low­ers be­lieve hu­mans have 10 states: Hell, hunger, in­stinct, anger, tran­quil­ity, eu­pho­ria, learn­ing, car­ing for oth­ers and en­light­en­ment.

Soka Gakkai In­ter­na­tional is the largest Nichiren so­ci­ety in the world.

Work­shops are held on Tues­day, April 8, 15 and 22 from 8pm to 9.15pm.
