Art of happiness
Buddhism happiness workshops are being held at Massey University’s Albany Campus.
The groups are based on Nichiren Buddhism, which believes the best way to happiness is to tackle issues front on.
The Nichiren followers believe humans have 10 states: Hell, hunger, instinct, anger, tranquility, euphoria, learning, caring for others and enlightenment.
Soka Gakkai International is the largest Nichiren society in the world.
Workshops are held on Tuesday, April 8, 15 and 22 from 8pm to 9.15pm.
