Get on to gout
Arthritis New Zealand is holding a free seminar this week to help those suffering from gout.
A form of arthritis, gout causes joints to become tight and swollen, with the skin often red and shiny.
The disease is most common among Maori and Pacific men, although it affects other groups as well.
Rheumatologist Dr Nicola Dalbeth will present the Get on to Gout seminar tomorrow, April 5, from 9.30am at the Fickling Centre, 546 Mt Albert Rd, Three Kings.
