Win tick­ets to see kids com­edy fes­ti­val

Kids can get in on the laughs at the In­ter­na­tional Com­edy Fes­ti­val for the first time this year.

The fes­ti­val line-up in­cludes three shows ded­i­cated to chil­dren, fea­tur­ing stand-up com­edy, an­i­ma­tion and pup­pets.

Co­me­di­ans Jamie Bowen, Dave Wig­gins, Janey God­ley, Mickey D and oth­ers will clean up their act for the Stand Up For Kids se­ries from April 24 to May 3.

In Men of Steel, top Aus­tralian pup­peteers take two gib­ber­ing cookie cut­ters on a mad, messy tour of the kitchen. The show, per­formed at the Ed­in­burgh and Dublin fringe fes­ti­vals, starts in Auck­land on April 29.

Big Howard and his an­i­mated side­kick fea­ture in Lit­tle Howard and the Magic Pen­cil of Life and Death.

The show by co­me­dian Howard Read com­bines stand-up with 3D an­i­ma­tion and songs.

Lit­tle Howard opens next Tues­day and runs for six nights.

All per­for­mances in the Nick­elodeon Kids Com­edy Sea­son are at Auck­land’s Her­ald Theatre.
