Poor publicity

Auckland City Harbour News - - Letters - SARAH GRIMES Arch Hill

In response to your article about low attendance at community board public meetings, might this be because of poor publicity? Where are such meetings advertised? How long in advance?

Are leaflets circulated around the area informing us of upcoming meetings? Are there advertisements in newspapers such as yours? Are posters put up in libraries, doctors’ surgeries, community noticeboards, schools etc?

I am sure there is not a lack of interest. But maybe lack of information? • Editor’s note: The meetings have been publicised in the Auckland City Council’s publication City Scene.
