Win tickets to Kiwi gigs
The end of New Zealand Music Month is near and for those who have missed out on seeing any local acts, there is still a chance to see some first-class Kiwi favourites next week.
Nesian Mystik, whose album Polysaturated went four times platinum, will play at the SkyCity Theatre on Thursday, May 29 with old favourites Che Fu and the Crates.
Soul sensation Hollie Smith will then take to the stage on Friday, May 30, which promises to be one of the biggest nights of the month dedicated to promoting Kiwi music.
Well-known for her breakthrough hit Bathe in the River, Hollie’s debut album Long Player entered the New Zealand charts at number one.
Her performance at the Civic of Canterbury in Christchurch earlier this month received rave reviews, with critics describing her as a world-class act.
Tickets for both SkyCity shows are available from Ticketek.
The Auckland City Harbour News has three double passes to Hollie Smith and three double passes to Nesian Mystik to give away.
To go in the draw for one double pass, send your name, address and daytime phone number on the back of an envelope to NZ Music Month competition, Auckland City Harbour News, Private Bag 56910, Dominion Rd, Mt Eden, or email edcl@ snl.co.nz.
Make sure you indicate which show you want to see by writing either Hollie Smith or Nesian on your envelope or in the subject line of your email.
All entries must be received by 9am on Wednesday, May 28.
