Elderly, no kids? Study needs you

Auckland City Harbour News - - News -

Are you an elderly person with no children?

If so, Auckland University researcher Ruth Allen wants to hear from you.

Ms Allen says it is important to get New Zealand stories of how people without children get support as they age.

“What can they tell us that will be relevant for the many Kiwis who will be growing old childless,” she says.

Ms Allen is keen to talk to men or women who have not had children, or who have outlived them, and are aged over 65 – or aged over 55 if they’re Maori or a Pacifi Islander.
