Kicks for Courage is set to get kids more active and help a worthy charity.
The new initiative, supported by All White Ryan Nelsen, aims to encourage Kiwi kids to take up soccer while raising money for the Child Cancer Foundation.
The programme is being piloted in the four main centres with schools who register before Friday going into the draw for football-related prizes.
Nelsen will offer coaching tips to participating schools in term three through the website www.kicksforcour age.co.nz.
Schools get to keep 20 percent of the money raised, while the rest goes towards providing support and services to children and their families affected by cancer.
To register, go to www. kicksforcourage.co.nz.
