Blooms­day at the Dogs Bol­lix

There’s a bloom­ing good time to be had for lit­er­a­ture lovers at the Dogs Bol­lix on Mon­day.

The pub will host the an­nual cel­e­bra­tions for Blooms­day, the day James Joyce set his novel Ulysses.

Blooms­day has be­come an in­ter­na­tional tra­di­tion and has been marked at the Dogs Bol­lix for three years.

The event fea­tures mu­sic by the Jews Brothers Band, read­ings by Dubliner Brian Kee­gan, a play star­ring Michael Mor­ris­sey and bar­ber-shop quar­tet and Ir­ish song per­for­mances.

Blooms­day fes­tiv­i­ties start at 8pm on Mon­day at the Dogs Bol­lix, New­ton Rd.
