Bloomsday at the Dogs Bollix
There’s a blooming good time to be had for literature lovers at the Dogs Bollix on Monday.
The pub will host the annual celebrations for Bloomsday, the day James Joyce set his novel Ulysses.
Bloomsday has become an international tradition and has been marked at the Dogs Bollix for three years.
The event features music by the Jews Brothers Band, readings by Dubliner Brian Keegan, a play starring Michael Morrissey and barber-shop quartet and Irish song performances.
Bloomsday festivities start at 8pm on Monday at the Dogs Bollix, Newton Rd.
