Mem­bers of the Grey Lynn com­mu­nity have raised more than $14,000 for their lo­cal school.

The Grey Lynn School tal­ent auc­tion held last week fea­tured a range of dif­fer­ent items.

Peo­ple could bid on tal­ents such as hav­ing their lawns mowed or a treehouse built or pur­chase items in­clud­ing hand-writ­ten lyrics from some of New Zealand’s top mu­si­cians.

The top-sell­ing item was a tour of the Camp­bell Live set and drinks with John Camp­bell and Carol Hirschfeld, which sold for $800.

All money raised will go to­wards new com­puter equip­ment.
