A public talk on sustainable housing is being held at Grey Lynn library tomorrow.
The free event will appeal to anyone concerned about the quality of their living environment.
Auckland City Council’s eco-design adviser Eion Scott will speak at the event, and says the Grey Lynn area is a regular source of inquiries, particularly from owners of old, draughty villas.
Mr Scott also offers up to two hours of free advice on how to improve sustainability, including a visit to the house or site.
“We can help people build more sustainable homes which are healthier, more comfortable and cheaper to run,” he says.
The talk is at the Grey Lynn library, 474 Great North Rd, from 5pm to 6pm. Call 374-1314.
