In 2005 Crown was the only travel and tourism school in New Zealand to be ranked in the top three in the world by IATA/UFTAA based on their stu­dents’ exam re­sults.

Their stu­dents range from school leavers to peo­ple chang­ing ca­reer di­rec­tion and those re­turn­ing to the work­force and need­ing to up­skill.

They both stud­ied for the Crown Cer­tifi­cate in In­ter­na­tional Travel, Tourism and Air­line Stud­ies and gained their na­tional and in­ter­na­tional qual­i­fi­ca­tions in only 36 weeks.

Crown’s 36-week Travel and Tourism course also in­cludes the Cabin Crew Di­rect Diploma and a wide range of op­tions that are recog­nised in­ter­na­tion­ally such as Mar­riott Ho­tel Ex­cel­lence Cer­tifi­cate, Cruise In­dus­try and Sales Cer­tifi­cate, Con­tiki Course and Cer­tifi­cate, Warner Vil­lage Theme Park, Hawaii Tourism Kuhina Pro­gramme and Tiare Tahiti Spe­cial­ist Pro­gramme.

Crown’s cour­ses are NZQA reg­is­tered and ap­proved for stu­dent fund­ing by the Min­istry of Ed­u­ca­tion.

Crown was again recog­nised as a qual­ity leader by the gov­ern­ment, gain­ing a three­year au­dit cy­cle from NZQA, the high­est rank­ing achiev­able by a pri­vate in­sti­tu­tion.
