Dream trip for wildlife lovers

Wildlife lovers can take the hol­i­day of a life­time and sup­port a wor­thy cause at the same time.

The SPCA Bor­neo Wildlife Ad­ven­ture is a 15-day trip from Septem­ber 22 to Oc­to­ber 6.

Trav­ellers will stay in ho­tels, have pri­vate trans­port and an es­cort from the SPCA along with an ex­pert tour guide.

The tour itin­er­ary fo­cuses on wildlife and the nat­u­ral en­vi­ron­ment of Sabah and Sarawak, in­clud­ing a three-night stay in a rain­for­est eco-lodge.

High­lights in­clude vis­its to two orangutan re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion cen­tres and an overnight stay on Tur­tle Is­land, where en­dan­gered green tur­tles come ashore to lay eggs.

There is also time to re­lax on the white-sand beaches and clear wa­ters of Tunku Ab­dul Rah­man Na­tional Park.

The $4760 cost per per­son in­cludes a $1000 do­na­tion to the Auck­land SPCA and a copy of the lat­est Lonely Planet guide for Bor­neo.
