Call for info after city stabbing
Police are looking for two men who assaulted a couple in the city last Friday.
The 23-year-old victim and his 22-year-old girlfriend were walking to their car on St Paul St and were on Governor Fitzroy Place at 11.30pm when the incident happened.
The woman was approached from behind by two men, who tried to grab her handbag. Her boyfriend intervened to protect her but was hit over the head with a beer bottle.
His girlfriend ran off to get help and a short time later he came towards her clutching his stomach, where he had been stabbed.
