Soloist to perform with NZSO
The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra’s 2009 season will be opened by international violinist Cho-Liang Lin.
At the first Auckland concerts of the season on March 27 and 28 at the Auckland Town Hall, Mr Lin will perform Prokofiev’s second violin concerto and Barber’s violin concerto.
Mr Lin has performed with top major orchestras.
The season will be opened by the NZSO’s music director Pietari Inkinen, who has cemented his place as one of the best conductors on the international circuit.
