Plan does rounds

The Auck­land City Coun­cil’s 10-year plan is out for pub­lic con­sul­ta­tion to­day.

It is avail­able on­line at the coun­cil’s web­site and res­i­dents will be sent a sum­mary of the plan and a sub­mis­sion form.

Sub­mis­sions, which close on May 18, can also be made on the web­site.

A se­ries of com­mu­nity meet­ings will be held for res­i­dents to dis­cuss the plan with coun­cil­lors and coun­cil staff.

The Mt Roskill meet­ing will be held on April 29 from 6pm to 8pm in the Hills­bor­ough Room of the Fick­ling Con­ven­tion Cen­tre on Mt Al­bert Rd in Three Kings.

A meet­ing will be held in Mt Al­bert on May 4 at Fern­dale House on New North Rd from 6pm to 8pm and a city meet­ing will be held on May 6 in the coun­cil cham­ber on the ground floor of the Auck­land Town Hall on Queen St from 6pm to 8pm.

There will also be a Pa­cific Is­land fono on May 11 in the Hills­bor­ough Room of the Fick­ling Con­ven­tion Cen­tre from 6pm to 8pm.
