Animation hopefuls will be drawn to school open day
The Freelance Animation School is hosting an open day for those who love to draw, have an imagination or are curious about animation.
Next Thursday from noon to 7pm, the open day at 242 Queen St will serve as a taster for anyone considering a career in the creative sector, visual arts, design or animation.
There will be a range of free workshops and prizes on offer.
Base FM will be broadcasting live from the freelance computer lab on level five of the school and is giving away two correspondence tuition courses worth $1200 each.
The Freelance Animation School is the only school to have its diploma in character animation awarded the ScreenMark by the New Zealand Screen Council.
ScreenMark is an industry accreditation process that recognises high quality, practical tertiary education courses relevant to the screen industry.
