Dive into some holiday fun
Youngsters visiting Kelly Tarlton’s these school holidays can play underwater detective to track down the ocean’s best masters of disguise.
Kelly Tarlton’s latest exhibition is Deep ‘N Disguise and the Auckland City Harbour News wants to help get you and your family there.
During the July school holidays kids can take part in fun activities like the Deep ‘N Disguise trail, a cool quiz which winds its way through the exhibition.
At special daily noon feedings in Fish Alley, the curators will reveal some of the nearly 20 species hiding among the nooks and crannies, unveiling their clever disguises and their secrets of survival.
And between 10.30am and 2.30pm every day youngsters can use their creative skills in beach art classes and learn to transform ordinary seaside objects like sand, shells and rocks into cool works of art.
Deep ‘N Disguise is on until July 19.
Tarlton’s activities such as stingray, shark and penguin feedings will continue as usual and normal admission prices will apply.
