Win dou­ble pass to hear noted vi­o­lin­ist

Cel­e­brated vi­o­lin­ist Pin­chas Zuk­er­man joins the New Zealand Sym­phony Or­ches­tra for three con­certs in Auck­land in Au­gust.

The first night of the Zuk­er­man Ex­pe­ri­ence, El­gar’s Mas­ter­pieces, is on Au­gust 13 in the Auck­land Town Hall at 6.30pm, with a talk at 5.45pm.

There’s also a Fri­day evening with the work of Brahms, a Satur­day af­ter­noon with Beethoven, and an evening of cham­ber mu­sic.

The first per­for­mance is of Sir Ed­ward El­gar’s vi­o­lin con­certo and sec­ond sym­phony, which refl the artist at the peak of his pow­ers.

Zuk­er­man per­forms with the world’s finest or­ches­tras, has recorded more then 100 times, and earned 21 Grammy nom­i­na­tions. Book at The Edge.
