The Wizard of Oz Show is coming to Auckland this month and is collecting toys for Starship hospital.
After more than 2000 international performances the children’s show will be at the Trusts Stadium in Waitakere at 10am on September 26.
The New Zealand tour is being combined with a children’s hospital toy appeal and guests are invited to donate a new toy or book at the show.
Over two years it has raised funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, run toy campaigns for the Starship Foundation and a number of hospitals, promoted child safety campaigns and donated to worthy causes.
The Wizard of Oz Show is a highly interactive, vibrant event and features extravagant multimedia technology, projection, intelligent lighting and catchy music.
Director Brian Laul says the shows are “about inviting kids to get up and move around, to relate to our music and to laugh and have a good time”.
He says there will be heaps of music, dancing, singing and fun.
Tickets cost $12 each and those under one get in free. Tickets are available at www.ticketdirect.co.nz or call 0800 4 TICKET.
