Auckland film-maker Dr Sapna Samant has made a short self-funded film about a migrant Korean family who live in an apartment block in downtown Auckland. It’s a tale highlighting the loneliness and isolation of non-English speaking migrants. The film has been shot but now Dr Samant needs the money for post-production so she can send the film to international film festivals. She still has not reached her target of $3500 and her deadline of September 29 is fast approaching.
