Be­fore us­ing a gas bar­be­cue check the con­nec­tion be­tween the gas tank and the fuel line doesn’t leak

Put dish­wash­ing liq­uid on the end of the hose that con­nects with the gas cylin­der. If it bub­bles it is leak­ing and should be checked by a pro­fes­sional

Use fire starters to get a char­coal bar­be­cue go­ing, don’t use flammable flu­ids. Douse the coals in water and leave them in the bar­be­cue over night and never throw them straight into the bin Pay at­ten­tion when cook­ing, don’t drink and fry. Drink when you sit down to eat
