Have a heart and give helping hand
One New Zealander dies of heart disease every 90 minutes.
The Heart Foundation is asking people to spare 90 minutes to help out in the annual nationwide Heart Week Street Appeal on February 15 and 16.
Money raised not only helps people affected by heart disease but helps others make healthy choices so they can live fulfilled lifetimes.
has provided more than $35 million for heart research to enable young cardiologists and researchers to carry out research and undertake training.
It also works with schools and early childhood centres to help set children on the right path to a heart healthy lifestyle.
