One such joint venture is the new IBM NZ Delivery Centre based at the Mt Albert campus.
Based on IBM’s successful Delivery Centre Model with the University of Ballarat, the Delivery Centre will provide Unitec students with part-time employment opportunities, as well as access to scholarships, student internships and graduate recruitment programmes with IBM.
‘‘Working with a highly respected global company will give our students the head start they need to get a great job when they graduate,’’ Unitec chief executive Dr Rick Ede says.
