Season titles on the line
American Football fans can look forward to a line up of tense finals tomorrow as the Grey Lynn-based Metro Predators and Seniors work hard for their season titles.
Both sides are considered the underdogs of the season which has played out as a tight competition from day one.
American Football Auckland executive member John Ikinepe says tomorrow’s action will be familiar ground for junior side the Metro Predators as they once again battle it out against the Mangere-based Raiders.
It is a similar story for the Metro Seniors who have surprised everyone to win a spot in the final with the Papatoetoe-based Wildcats after a close game in the semifinal against the Hawks.
The Junior Bowl and Kiwi Bowl finals will be held at Mountfort Park, Manurewa.
The Metro Predators will take on the Raiders at 10am while the Metro Seniors will face off against defending champions the Wildcats from 4pm.
