Autism NZ updates look

Autism New Zealand has refreshed its look with a bright lime green and yellow makeover.

The Morningsidebased organisation has until now had a motif of puzzle pieces, but say the rebrand shows a more positive side of autism.

However it hasn’t completely ditched the internationally recognised symbol and the new logo has incorporated a puzzle piece into the shape of a person inside a capital ‘ A’.

Chief executive Alison Molloy says the new brand follows some serious thinking about how the organisation can best support people on the autism spectrum, their families and the professionals who work with them.

‘‘We believe Autism New Zealand will really stand out in the not-forprofit environment,’’ she says.

‘‘The new branding positions us as an ‘‘authority’’ within our sector and will work well with our existing services and the suite of new programmes and services as they are rolled out.’’
