Sky­path meet­ing

A pub­lic meet­ing about the con­tro­ver­sial $28 mil­lion cy­cling and walking path­way across the Auck­land Har­bour Bridge will un­cover how the project could af­fect res­i­dents in the Waitem­ata Lo­cal Board area.

The meet­ing will al­low peo­ple to give their feed­back and hear pro­pos­als from the Auck­land Har­bour Bridge Path­way Trust.

The ini­tia­tive, devel­oped in con­sul­ta­tion with the NZ Trans­port Agency which signed off on the project’s struc­tural fea­si­bil­ity last year, will see a four-me­tre wide, kilo­me­tre-long path­way built un­der­neath the bridge clipon lane on the city side.

The meet­ing will be hosted by the Waitem­ata Lo­cal Board and held at the Rich­mond Yacht Club, Cur­ran St, St Mary’s Bay on April 11 from 6pm till 8pm.
