Auckland City Harbour News - - NEWS -

Angry Arch Hill residents concerned by the prospect of hardware giant Bunnings moving into their neighbourhood are signing a petition against the development.

Bunnings is seeking resource consent to build a three-level store at 272-302 Great North Rd on the border of Grey Lynn and Arch Hill, Auckland City Harbour News, April 17.

Residents say the large store will change the vibe of the community and could turn it into an industrial area.

Arch Hill resident Sue Lyons says the petition will be sent along with submissions before the closing date of May 3 to show the whole community’s point of view.

The petition can be signed by those people excluded from the limited notification process which allows only notified individuals to have their say.
