An art exhibition is examining the concept that recycling is more than separating your plastics and papers and doing your part for the environment. Over and Over is on show at Artstation from May 8 to 25 and features painting, sculpture and digital works by Melanie Deacon, Priscilla Hunter, Anna Sharman and Jeremy Hansen. The exhibition uses the act and process of recycling everyday materials, ideas and images to look at the way our personal, social and mental environments are a product of constant renewal, repetition and reinvention. Artstation is at 1 Ponsonby Rd, Newton. Go to aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/ artstation or phone 376 3221.
