Indoi: Truly authentic Indian food

Auckland City Harbour News - - NEWS -

The ancient Greeks defined the people of India as ‘‘Indoi’’.

However, the team at Indoi is defining authentic Indian cuisine.

From the preparation of the food to its presen- tation, all the elements are considered patiently to ensure their customers leave with mouthwatering memories, and look forward to returning.

Instead of going over- board with an extensive and long menu, the team at Indoi has gone the other way and decided to only include the dishes that are famous.

This allows the Indoi team to concentrate on sourcing local meat, poultry, fresh produce and authentic spices from back home to present the best of Indian cuisine.

The restaurant is designed and decorated in an elegant way that offers diners a comfortable dining experience. Customers can also see the starters being cooked in the charcoal oven in a one of a kind ‘‘tandoori room’’.

Head chef Sanjeev and his kitchen team accompanied by the front of house staff are there to ensure customers leave with memories of feast, fun, frolic and gaiety.

Located in the heart of Newmarket at 3A Short Street, Indoi is open seven days a week from 11am to 5pm for lunch and 5pm to 10.30pm for dinner.

Don’t forget to try their lunch menu consisting of roti rolls starting from $6, lunch combo for $10 and thali starting from $12.

Tandoori room: Watch your starters made right before your eyes.

Simply unputdownable: Diners take home memories of feasts, fun, frolic and gaiety from Indoi in Newmarket.
