Looking back on cars of yesteryear
Motoring enthusiasts will be able to explore New Zealand’s love affair with cars when they roll up to Motat this month.
The exhibition Motor Nation is hosting more than 17 classic cars, including the museum’s oldest car, a 100-year-old Brush Runabout, a 1965 Trekka – the only car to be designed and massproduced in New Zealand – and a near original condition Morris Mini.
The cars will be displayed in a themed exhibition of seven eras representing New Zealand’s infatuation with cars.
The exhibition will run throughout September at Motat, 805 Great North Rd, Western Springs.
Classic: Motat’s Motor Nation exhibition is taking car lovers on a trip down memory lane.
