Holistic healthcare for everyone
The New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine (NZCCM) in Greenlane is currently enrolling students into the Bachelor of Health Science (Level 7) programme which starts this month.
The aim of the course is to explore the theoretical and practical knowledge of Chinese medicine and to prepare graduates to become ACC accredited practitioners of traditional acupuncture and run a successful clinic offering Chinese medicine in contemporary and Western contexts.
The aim of Chinese medicine, which is among the oldest healing arts in the world, is to restore and maintain health. It honours the integration of the body, mind and spirit. Chinese medicine embraces a medical model and comprehensive method of diagnosis and treatments that can include a wide variety of techniques.
The aim of NZCCM is to promote a supportive study environment where the college warmly embraces people from all cultural and treatment results and the student’s ability and professional skill.
