A fair for brides who want to get mar­ried on Wai­heke will of­fer a show­case of what the is­land has to of­fer.

The Wai­heke Wed­ding Fair will be at Batch Win­ery from 10am to 4pm on Oc­to­ber 20.

It is the sec­ond wed­ding fair or­gan­ised by Coco Lily Events on the is­land and fol­lows re­quests by ven­dors for a sec­ond op­por­tu­nity to show­case their creative ex­per­tise, event Sophia Co­hen says.

‘‘Brides con­tin­u­ally look for in­spir­ing creative and con­tem­po­rary in­flu­ences for their big day. The Wai­heke Wed­ding Fair show­cases the new and the tra­di­tional along­side the lat­est global trends in wed­ding fairs.’’

Ms Co­hen says ac­tiv­i­ties will in­clude ar­ti­san food pro­duc­ers, live en­ter­tain­ment, wine tast­ings, cock­tail tast­ings and sched­uled events along­side bou­tique

di­rec­tor ven­dors – from florists to cake de­sign­ers and venue providers.

Each guest will be wel­comed with a com­pli­men­tary glass of Batch win­ery bub­bles.

‘‘Batch Win­ery is a state of the art win­ery with views that can en­ter­tain all mem­bers of the bridal group, in­clud­ing chil­dren,’’ Ms Co­hen says.

Tick­ets can be pur­chased at wai­hekewed­ding­fair. co.nz/buy-a-ticket at $40 each, which in­cludes a re­turn ferry ticket with Fullers and cour­tesy trans­port to the venue, en­try and a com­pli­men­tary glass of Batch Blanc de Blanc.
