Good olde days return to Motat
Motat is turning back the clock to keep kids entertained these holidays.
The museum is celebrating life in Auckland in the early 1900s with its Turn Back Time holiday experience which ties in to the Heritage Festival that is now under way.
Museum staff get into the swing of things by dressing in period costume and children are given the opportunity to play Victorian-themed lawn games.
There is also a traditional Punch & Judy show keeping kids of all ages amused.
Criminal offence: Sixteen-yearold Tessa Bretag, on holiday from Australia, finds herself in the stocks after being accused of stealing icecream.
Shoe shot: Meera Rathod, 6, from Mt Roskill, tries her hand at horseshoe throwing during the Turn Back Time holiday experience at Motat.
