Good olde days re­turn to Mo­tat

Mo­tat is turn­ing back the clock to keep kids en­ter­tained th­ese hol­i­days.

The mu­seum is cel­e­brat­ing life in Auck­land in the early 1900s with its Turn Back Time hol­i­day ex­pe­ri­ence which ties in to the Her­itage Fes­ti­val that is now un­der way.

Mu­seum staff get into the swing of things by dress­ing in pe­riod cos­tume and chil­dren are given the op­por­tu­nity to play Vic­to­rian-themed lawn games.

There is also a tra­di­tional Punch & Judy show keep­ing kids of all ages amused.
