Rapper launches album

Auckland City Harbour News - - NEWS -

Rapper David Dallas is taking over a High St store to celebrate the release of his new album today.

Falling into Place is the third full-length album from the Auckland musician, who is signed with New York label Duck Down Music.

The record is said to marry the grit and energy heard in the hardest hip hop records with lush, at times almost etherealsounding backdrops.

The first single off the album, Runnin’, has already resonated with New Zealanders – the video knocked up more than 130,000 online views in just two weeks.

Friday’s instore appearance will see the premiere of a new music video.

Fans will also be treated to a performance by David Dallas.

The Falling into Place album release is on from noon at Trainers skateboarding store at 5B High St.
