Lo­cal board sworn in and ready for duty

The newly elected Waitem­ata Lo­cal Board will be sworn in for duty on Mon­day.

The cer­e­monies are the first of­fi­cial meet­ings of the new lo­cal boards and res­i­dents are wel­come to at­tend and meet their elected rep­re­sen­ta­tives.

Mem­bers will be sworn into of­fice and a chair­per­son and deputy chai- rper­son will be se­lected.

The in­au­gu­ra­tion of the Waitem­ata Lo­cal Board will be at 6.30pm on Novem­ber 4 in the Re­cep­tion Lounge of the Auck­land Town Hall, Level 2, 303 Queen St.

The Al­bert-Eden Lo­cal Board will meet at 6.30pm on Novem­ber 6 at the Raye Freed­man Arts Cen­tre at Ep­som Girls Gram­mar School.
