Haylee goes all out for SPCA

Res­cued an­i­mals will have full bel­lies thanks to the ef­forts of a 12-year-old girl.

Haylee Guy con­vinced her school mates at Auck­land Nor­mal In­ter­me­di­ate to take part in a pet food drive for the Auck­land SPCA. In just over a week the school gath­ered a whop­ping 180 kilo­grams of pet food. plans to turn her ef­forts to­wards a dif­fer­ent char­ity.

‘‘I think I’ll do the same thing but I’ll do it with the Auck­land City Mis­sion, so it will be hu­man food,’’ she says.
