Emergency services’ skills on show
Do you know someone who’s crazy about fire trucks?
A free family fun day showcasing the work done by emergency services is on tomorrow.
The Sirens and Sounds Festival is on at Eastdale Reserve in Avondale, from 11am to 3pm.
There will be demonstrations by police, the fire service and ambulance staff including one showing how crash victims are cut out of vehicles.
There will be music, cultural performances, the chance to try out your Zumba moves and prizes to be won.
joint venture between the Rosebank-Waterview Neighbourhood Policing Team and the Neighbourhood Safety Panel – a community volunteer group made up of Avondale and Waterview residents that aims to make its area safer and more connected by holding local events to bring people together.
