Mall parking woes

Auckland City Harbour News - - OPINION -

I was at the car park opposite St Lukes and saw another poor soul being towed, presumably for parking and walking across to Westfield. I feel so sorry for them – $250 is a lot of money for a lot of people who have no knowledge or interest in the politics of the two shopping sites.

I think about the number of times that I have shopped at both sites – realistically, who is going to drive over the road once they have parked at the site they plan to shop at then maybe finish off at the other place? What if somebody got it wrong, and thought I had gone to the other shops when in fact I was in the ones on that side of the road?

If anybody has some spare time maybe they could patrol the car park to warn any other people who would probably not believe such stupidity is happening in this car park.

Power to the people!
