Plastic forest no throw-away idea
Thousands of plastic bottles have been transformed into a Christmas forest in Aotea Square.
The Reclaimed Christmas Forest has been designed to make people more aware of what they are throwing away this Christmas.
It is made up of 5000 recyclable plastic milk and soft drink bottles shaped into a seven-metre-tall tree surrounded by 12 smaller trees.
The plastic forest display will remain in the square until December 21.
