Swamp Thing to be lead act

The line-up for the CaNZert Char­ity Gig for Cancer at the Kings Arms on Fe­bru­ary 22 is now com­plete.

The Hot Rod Ses­sion kicks off at 1pm and will be a mix of rock, rock­a­billy, blues and folk.

This ses­sion in­cludes The Re­cliner Rock­ers, Swamp­land, Al Lavis, The Hand, Bernie Grif­fen, Man Solo, and a DJ set from the crew from the on­line Kiwi mu­sic sta­tion Disas­taruz Ra­dio.

Look out for the hot rods ar­riv­ing at the Kings Arms in time for the first act.

They’ll be cruis­ing over the bridge from Taka­puna on the day.

The Night Ses­sion be­gins at 8pm and has a rock, blues and roots vibe.

It is head­lined by Swamp Thing and in­cludes Har­vey Knows a Killer, His Mas­ter’s Voice, Night Gaunts and Bru­tally Frank with DJ sets by CoReZ.

There will also be some acous­tic tunes from Lane Twig­den be­tween the two ses­sions.

The artists are donat­ing their time and spon­sors are donat­ing equip­ment as well as prizes.

All of the pro­ceeds from the gig will go to Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand.
