Swamp Thing to be lead act
The line-up for the CaNZert Charity Gig for Cancer at the Kings Arms on February 22 is now complete.
The Hot Rod Session kicks off at 1pm and will be a mix of rock, rockabilly, blues and folk.
This session includes The Recliner Rockers, Swampland, Al Lavis, The Hand, Bernie Griffen, Man Solo, and a DJ set from the crew from the online Kiwi music station Disastaruz Radio.
Look out for the hot rods arriving at the Kings Arms in time for the first act.
They’ll be cruising over the bridge from Takapuna on the day.
The Night Session begins at 8pm and has a rock, blues and roots vibe.
It is headlined by Swamp Thing and includes Harvey Knows a Killer, His Master’s Voice, Night Gaunts and Brutally Frank with DJ sets by CoReZ.
There will also be some acoustic tunes from Lane Twigden between the two sessions.
The artists are donating their time and sponsors are donating equipment as well as prizes.
All of the proceeds from the gig will go to Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand.
Swamp Thing: The blues roots duo headlines the night session.
