Roadworks problem

Auckland City Harbour News - - OPINION -

I observed comments from residents of Waterview ( Auckland City Harbour News, February 26) about the new winding roadworks on Great North Rd. I have not observed what the women states and I walk it most afternoons usually after or during peak hours. I do add that motorists treat it as a speedway track. However I see a more serious problem.

If one sits near the intersections of Saxon and Alford St and also Saxon St and Oakley Ave one will get more of an eye opener. What are stop signs? Nothing according to some drivers. Why did the council install stop signs if they are not enforced? I dare you to sit at this area near Alford St and Saxon Ave and observe the driving.
