Here’s your chance to own the signed boots rugby league star Benji Marshall wore in his final Kiwis game.

The boots will go under the hammer at a charity fundraising auction being held during a special luncheon at the Ellerslie Events Centre on May 9.

Also up for grabs are the signed boots Micheal Luck wore during his final outing with the Vodafone Warriors.

A signed Vodafone Warriors jersey is expected to generate a bit of excitement among bidders because whoever buys it will get the opportunity to meet their favourite player.

Tickets to the event are selling fast at $100 per head and anyone buying a table will also get two passes to Eden Park to see the Vodafone Warriors play the Raiders on May 10.

The three-course lunch is being organised by the Mad Butcher and Suburban Newspapers Community Trust in support of the League 4 Life programme which was set up to support people involved with the sport who are in financial difficulty through no fault of their own.

Guests will include Stacey Jones, Hugh McGahan, Monty Betham, Jerry Seuseu, Duane Mann and Ruben Wiki.
