A small New Zealand not-forprofit trust has won four international awards for a radio programme. The show is called Newstalk BC and was created by the Christian Broadcasting Association (CBA), which is based in Penrose. They won two golds and two silvers at a New York ceremony, beating some of the largest radio companies in the world. The show transported listeners back in time to Jerusalem in 1BC. It was a hilarious hour of ’’talkback’’ on the very first Christmas morning. Forty different voices were included, ranging from Kiwi actors Ian Mune and Mark Hadlow to the Prime Minister and Sir Peter Leitch. None of them were paid but were happy to take part.
