Finalists right on song
Six singers will battle it out for the accolade of top voice at the Lexus Song Quest grand final tomorrow.
Kingsland soprano Isabella Moore is one of the finalists who will perform in the contest alongside the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra at the Auckland Town Hall.
The 23-year-old has already won the Dame Malvina Major Foundation Christchurch Aria and Hamilton’s Opera Aria contest this year.
She is also a finalist in the IFAC Australian Singing Competition.
The Lexus Song Quest has unearthed some of the country’s top singing talent, with past winners including Dame Kiri Te Kanawa and Dame Malvina Major.
Finalists will be judged live from 7.30pm tomorrow. The winner and runners-up will head to Wellington for a recital concert on July 29.
